Covid-19 Safety

Hall of Gaming takes measures to ensure the safety of our players.

All of our events will:
  • Require players to be fully vaccinated.
  • Require eligible players to get the booster*.
  • Require players to wear masks.
  • Have player registration caps.

This policy is in line with what neighboring regions' tournaments are doing. We hope to coordinate with other tournament organizers in order to collectively lift these restrictions as the pandemic climate improves.

If you plan to attend an event, please make sure you meet these expectations. If you plan to compete, check to make sure the tournament has not capped.

Thanks for understanding!

* If 6 months have passed since you became fully vaccinated with either of the Pfizer/Moderna vaccines (or 3 months for the J&J vaccine), we'll be requiring that you have the booster to attend our events. The CDC recommends getting boosted a month earlier than these lengths.

We run tournaments.

Hall of Gaming runs three tournaments every week.

First tournament?

Going to your first tournament can be intimidating, but we promise that it's a ton of fun! Here's a few things to keep in mind.

You don't have to compete!

There's no pressure to compete in the tournament itself! Stop by and see if you enjoy the atmosphere that the tournament creates. Play some games, make some friends!

You're already good enough!

There are players of all skill levels at tournaments and experienced players love seeing new players get into their game! Everyone's new at some point and attending tournaments will make you improve quickly!

Stick around and hang!

Lots of our players hang out at the tournament even after they've been knocked out. Play some friendly matches or play some other video games and board games with people in our freeplay area!

Be prepared!

  • Bring your own controller!
  • Bring extra money if you plan on getting food or drink.
  • Be ready to ask people to play!
  • Get excited!
